Nikki Attree graduated with a degree in photography from the University of Westminster London
Her work has appeared in galleries, magazines (Boards magazine, Sussex Life ,Opticon, PhotoFX, Macformat etc) and on CD covers for Boosey and Hawkes (music publishers) and commissions from individual musicians. Her work is also featured on London Art Her stock photos are lodged with Alamy and photofusion.

Since moving to Tenerife, Nikki has been helping the hardworking animal rescue centres there by running a blog http://tenerifedogs.blogspot.com.es/ seeking to find homes for abandoned dogs, and in 2008 and 2010 she was commissioned to produce calendars (
The Digital Dogs images (some of which were produced for the 2011 calendar) celebrate Man’s Best Friend in a variety of quirky, fun and unusual settings: a skateboarding dog, a pooch making music on a laptop, a pup driving a truck …
Using software to manipulate her own photographs of these wonderful woofers, and drawing on ideas from Pop Art, Surrealism, Salvador Dali and Rene Margritte, she explores an imaginary Planet Dog.Nikki is now living in Tenerife, and photographing the wonderful landscapes, nature, villages, festivals people and dogs. She also spends time enjoying windsurfing in one of the most consistently windy locations in Europe.
Recently Nikki has written in collaboration with her husband Richard Attree a book titled ‘Nobody’s Poodle’ which is inspired by her work with the dog refuges and owning a rescue dog herself.
